Footwear lines such as Nike have been trying to combine sneakers with boots for quite some time now. Noone has accomplished this task with the seamless elegance of the Adidas SLVR WINTERBOOT. The sole is that of a sneaker while the upper has a rugged boot silhouette. Where not sure if a white sole is the most practical choice for facing winter weather, but the contrast surely catches the eye.

Microsoft just released images of their new Windows 7 smart phone. Microsoft has been struggling in the smart phone field due to many consumers' disdain towards the unstable operating system. Microsoft has set out to do away with their bad reputation with the Windows Phone 7. The verdict is still out in terms of what sets this phone apart from the many "iPhone clones" out there. Improvements to the operating system and user interface should help Microsoft get out of the corner they have painted themselves into with previous models. These will be available in Europe in October and should be available stateside by the holiday season.

Even though these shows are older than most of us, they still hold some sentimental value in the hearts of sneakers heads all over the world. Im sure many people fantasized about rocking the shoes Marty McFly had on in the Back II the Future film. Now that dream may become a reality for the winner of the auction put on by Profiles in History. Whoever is willing to fork over the $15,000 needed to win these antiquities wil surely have a truely rare piece to add to their collection. I always thought that Nike should commercially release these shoes. In today's market these could cause a world wide frenzy that we haven't seen since the release of the Air Yeezy's.
